I am wondering about what I should wear to visit temples and the grand palace? I am a female. Should I wear pants or could i get away with wearing tights that are just short of the ankle under a dress? Keeping my shoulders covered of course.
For the big tourist temples you can wear anything so long as your legs are covered past the knees and your shoulders covered. That's the respectable way, but at places like Wat Pho there are plenty of tourists who wear less than that.
