I use Citronella products by Druide. Spray, soap, shampoo, you just have to apply it more often they say, but I prefer it to Deet because it doesn't damage clothes & is not so great for your skin.

I've never heard about those brand names,
I don't even think I can get them in my country,
but I suppose any citronella product can be effective,
no matter the brand.
Good to know about the shampoo as well...
I heard there are some suntan lotions which are also
insect repellent, they would be great for day time!

This will give you an idea: http://druide.ca/Category.aspx?CatID=9&Langue= But there are other companies with similar products everywhere... you can order online if you're comfortable with that?

Thank you so much for the information...I really appreciate it.
Normally I spend a lot of money and none of the products really work.
Definitely I'll try the Citronella ones.
