We are a couple traveling with 2 girls (ages 8/10) and arrive in BKK late 14 Dec and leave 9 Jan. We'd like to visit Kanchanaburi, Ayuthaya (or Sukhothai, or both? which makes sense?), Lopburi and spend rest of time on a couple of islands before spending last 1 or 2 nights in BKK.
Our girls are fans of pools and beaches (surprise!).Good travelers, but not great at sightseeing. It would be nice for them to be around kids for part of the trip.
We may have left booking over peak season a bit too late, but ideal plan would be to see Ayu, Kan, etc first then head south to Krabi, Ko Lanta, Ko Jum area. Any thoughts on itinerary, places to stay? We have a moderate (not luxurious budget).
