Feb/March 2012 will be our 4th visit in a row to SE Asia, having travelled around Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Thailand doesn't count as we have only been to Bangkok and taken the train up to Vientianne. However, we met some people in LP who had taken a 3 or 4 day boat trip from somewhere on the Thai border down the Mekong to LP. They had booked a boat that can take about 20 pax but that only actually books about 12 and they said it was brilliant. Unfortunately we didn't actually think to ask them for any other details. Does anyone have any ideas?
