Due to industrial action related to the ongoing protest dramas in Bangkok involving the PAD, trains travelling to the northeast of Thailand are no longer running. It's not clear from newspaper reports if the strike will spread to train services to the north and south of the country, nor how long the strike is expected to run, but at this stage we suggest looking at alternative travel arrangements -- ie., bus and flying.
