The PhnomPenhPost reports that from next week 3-day Angkor tickets which sell for US$40 will be valid for three days within a seven day period, while week-long passes (costing $60) will be valid for any seven days in a month-long period.
This is excellent news from a traveller's perspective as it should translate into people staying longer in the Siem Reap area and seeing more of what this area of Cambodia has to offer. For those purchasing a 7-day pass you'll now be able to do a couple of days at Angkor then head else, perhaps to Battambang or Anlong Veng before returning to see more. Terrific news.
