Thailand: Emergency lifted but checkpoints galore

Thailand's state of emergency following the red shirt protests was lifted last Friday, but as the [http://www.nationmultimedia.com/news/30101316/128-road-checkpoints-set-up-in-Bangkok]The Nation reports, more than 100 security and "alcohol" checkpoints have been set up across the capital.
So don't be surprised when your taxi gets pulled over for a look. And er, don't drink your Singhas on the road!
