The PP Post reports on the first case of swine flu in Cambodia, which has been confirmed in a an American teen on a school trip to the kingdom. The 16-year-old , who arrived in Phnom Penh on Friday, was being held in isolation at Calmette Hospital, said a WHO official. According to a joint press release from the Health Ministry and the WHO, she "is recovering well without any complications". The school group that the teenager arrived with is under voluntary observation.
[It seems that swine flu is slowly but surely spreading its way around the globe, though doing little more damage than the ordinary flu. So we'd say, don't change any of your travel plans, just follow normal hygienic procedures: wash your hands regularly, and if you get sick, head to a doctor.
