Camcorders in Bangkok?

    Has anyone purchased a camcorder in thailand instead of bringing one with them? how big is the price difference? what should i be considering if i buy the cam there?

    You can check the Canon Thailand website to check for suggested retail prices and compare them to your own home country.

    I am out of touch with camcorder technology but you may need to check for compatibility with the video standard of your home country, such as NTSC, PAL, or SECAM.
