Hello there,,,i have a few questions. How different is the thailand, laos, cambodia, vietnam plugs from the UK one. Do i need special adaptors?

They are 2 point not like UK 3 point so yes you need an adaptor.Bought at any electrical dealer or branch of Wilkinsons where I got mine for the princely sum of £1

Before we went away we bought a universal adapter which cost us an arm and a leg. Then when were were in Bangkok, found a universal adapter in a 7-11 near Khao San Rd for a couple of dollars. Our expensive universal adapter has since broken and the cheaper one is still going strong. I would suggest buying one when you arrive in Bangkok.
