Just wondering if anyone can recommend any travel Apps for using when travelling around SE Asia? I'm bringing my iPad with me.
Obviously the Travelfish ones are a given! Aside from that I'm thinking Skype, Air Asia and WordPress for updating the blog - any other recommendations?

Hi me and my friend are in the process of creating a free app that allows users to find the details of private bus/boat operators between any cities in Southeast Asia as well as the corresponding border-crossing details if the route you are taking requires border-crossing. I wonder if any of you might be interested?
I will contact you once our app is completed. It will be also interesting if you tell me what other problems you encounter that you would like a solution for.

For Malaysia, I suggest MyTeksi or TaxiMonger to help you get taxis that uses meter in Kuala Lumpur (the city is known for unethical taxi drivers).
When you hail a taxi this way, you'll be charged RM 2 extra but you'll get an estimated fare beforehand.
