Hi
I am looking at working up from Koh Lipe over xmas and new year and travelling up to similian islands. Just Island hoping. How easy is it to get about? Where is best to stay if we are looking for relaxed chilled people? Any ideas would be great!

In peak season there's a speedboat service from Lipe to Lanta, but otherwise you'll need to head back to the coast and head north to Trang and go out to the islands there from where you can work your way up to Lanta, Jum, Phi Phi and Phuket, then either out to the Similans or north to Khao Lak and then out from there.

Hope that helps
