    Instead of going on a tour from Yogyakarta we stayed in Borobudur village in an amazing homestay with really good tours. 5 minutes walk from the temple! Ika (host) and his family are very kind and compassionate people. One of us was very ill and they took good care of her. They showed me village local life and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. If you plan to visit the temple I highly recommend Efata homestay for a few days...
