Hi folks,
I'm developing a short itinerary with Vietnamstay.com and was offered a price of 319$ for 2 nights at the Intercontinental Westlake hotel and 1 night aboard the Bhaya cruise. Could any of you here advise if it's good value for money and if the company/boat operator is legitimate.
Thank you

Todd_reid,
It looks like rooms at that Intercontinental start around $130 per night, so that package price for 2 nights plus a night on a boat seems pretty good.
A 3-star Halong Bay 2-day/1-night cruise will be at least $55 or so per person, and the Bhaya Cruise website makes it look like it's at least that level and it looks legit, though I have no first-hand knowledge.
That's one of the most expensive hotels in Hanoi and you can get quite a luxurious room for well under $100 if money is an issue, and a nice room for well under $50 if you don't need room service and such. So the package price looks good if you prefer an international chain hotel like that one.

Yeap, a very good deal and Vietnamstay.com is totally legitimate and reputable. We dealt with them last year and were completely happy.
