Hello,
Ill be travelling to Hanoi next month.
Im hoping to get aq pair of prescription sunglasses once I get there to protect my eyes.
Is that a bad idea? Should I get them in the states/
Glasses are so expensive in NY.. was hoping to save some bucks in Vietnam.

I'd definetely get then in Hanoi -- should cost a fraction of the price. Just bring your script with you.

Would getting cheaper prescription sunglasses be possible in Bangkok also? I had thought about getting some before I go, but they are so expensive!!!

Yes, you an buy cheaper prescription eyeglasses at anywhere,there are various online business sites which deal in these.. I bought a pairof prescription eyeglasses from online and it was quite cheaper than the marketprices.
