Hi there
We have 8 days in Vietnam and would like to go to Phu Quoc Island for 3-4 days...anyone have any ideas of what we should DEFINITELY see in southern Vietnam before our flight goes back to the UK from Ho Chi Minh City??? Any ideas gratefully accepted!!

Hi Lucy,
Ironically we'll be in the region doing roughly the same thing although we'll be coming down from Phnom Penh by boat to Chau Doc and then lazing away a few days on the delta whilst throwing in a homestay before heading off to Phu Quoc.

Hey,
Well in that case we may be letting you know of our tales before then! ;-)
We're off February...
Snap, we're in the midst of planning too - flights to and from the UK are booked and everything else we're doing ourselves.
Flying to Hong Kong for 2 nights then on to HCMC..
One night in HCMC then flight to Siem Reap/Phnom Penh for 2-3 nights...
Then the rest of the trip is still being planned but defo want Mekong Delta, Phu Quoc, a home stay (!) and few days to see HCMC itself...
Bit of a whistlestop tour but trying to cram in as much as possible - we're not going for a relaxing trip!!
If you see any gems worth pursing let me know and vice virsa!

Well..................
We've book our return flight as well but we're dropping in at Bangkok then heading up to Laos (Luang Prabang) before heading to southern Laos over to Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, The Delta, then onto Phu Quoc from HCMC. Bit of a whirl but we have 31 days and we'll be taking in a flights from BKK to Luang, between northern and southern Laos and flying from Pakse to Siem Reap too.

Sounds fab! Unfortunately we don't get to see Laos in the time that we've got but the trip sounds amazing!
