Hi there,
Looking at www.vietnamairlines.com but it doesn't seem possible to book online yet...
We'd like to book return flights from HCMC to Siem Reap - should we do this in advance or is it OK to do it when we get to HCMC? ie will we save any money by doing it when we get to Vietnam or is it just as easy to do it in advance?
Any advice would be super!
Thanks

You can't book online with VN but you would be able to get this booked at STA travel or similar if you really wanted to. You will probably save cash if you just waited until you got to Vietnam though.
You don't have to do it in HCMC itself remember - if you are in Hanoi or somewhere else first, you can go to any travel agent and book this flight. In HCMC, you can go to Vietnam Airlines at the top of Nguyen Hue or you can just go to any of the backpacker cafes in Pham Ngu Lao and it will cost similar or maybe $20US more (but take less time!). There are a few flights a day and best to do it as far in advance as you can. I'd be surprised if it sold out but it is high season right now so you never know...

Thanks TessaW...
I reckon we'll risk it and book when we arrive - fingers crossed!
Cheers
