Hi,
We are going to Dalat and are wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a clean friendly guesthouse. Our price range is around 10 USD but will go higher if needed. We don't need anything special, just clean and friendly. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks
Madkaw

Hi,
I'll answer my own post just in case someone else comes looking for the same info. We stayed at the first hotel the TM Bros. bus stopped at, the Tri Ky 11 Hotel on 1c Ha Huy Tap st. We had a look inside and decided that it was clean enough for us. For the two of us it was 7 USD per night and for our single friend it was 5 USD per night. It had a large clean bathroom, hot water, satellite TV, an unsecure wifi access we were able to tap into and very friendly and helpful staff. We booked a tour on a mini bus through them instead of going with the Easy Riders and were quite pleased. It was cheap, we had a great tour guide and the mini bus to just the two of us. The only thing people may not like about this hotel is the distance from the centre of town. Its not bad if you like walking (10-15 mins. We walked it every day) but if you need to be in the very heart of town it may not be the one for you.
Thanks
Madkaw

Hi Madkaw,
Thanks for the report -- we've finally got a researcher hitting Dalat in the next week or so so will be sure to look the place up and review it.
Cheers
