Hello, Im planning a visit to SE Asia in May/ June this year.
Original plan was to spend the whole month in the Philippines.
Now Im considering trying 2 weeks in the Philippines, flying to Vietnam & spending 2 weeks there.
Can anyone offer advice on this plan? Is 2 weeks too little time in each place?
Or is 1 whole month just in the Philippines too much?
Help?!!

If this is your first trip to the area, I would think that it would be best to spend the entire month in one country. I haven't been to the Philippines yet, but look at the map - quite a few islands to see. Vietnam is not exactly small either, and travel is slower in SE Asia, and really one should slow down and see/experience the local culture rather than rushing around. My first trip to Vietnam was for 1 month, and I barely covered the top spots. I've now taken 4 trips, but I still have many places left to see (my problem is that I love cities, and I don't really give the rural areas enough attention).
