Hey Guys,
Tried searching if this question has already been asked but couldn't find it.
Is there any possible way, by train or bus to come from the south of Vietnam (Dalat, Nah Thrang or Hue) and go straight to Halong Bay, without going through Hanoi ? Been to Hanoi a lot and would like to save time, if possible.

Yes, you can transit through the city of Haiphong, but you won't save any time - in fact, it will probably take longer that way.

Get off your bus(day bus or sleeper) or train from Hue at Ninh Binh after that take a bus to Hai Phong then go to Ha Long bay even though i don't know whether you can save your time with it.
