hi guys
I have been using this site to plan my trip to Vietnam Cambodia and Laos, i have seen lots of posts about people after travel buddies but their dates dont seem to match, so was wondering if anyone is doing a similar trip from around late june
I arrive in Hanoi Vietnam on 22 June 11, i am doing the usual route down stopping in various places such ha long bay, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Da Lat and HCMC before heading into cambodia.
PM me if anyone is interested in meeting up to do part of this trip, i have been to many places before around the world but this is my first solo trip of such length (away for 10 weeks)

Hey there,
I'm also planning arriving in Hanoi on June 22nd and making my way down south in three weeks. How long will you be staying? Would be nice to meet up with some fellow travellers.

hey Sandra,
I fly in to Hanoi from Bangkok, and was looking at staying at the Hanoi backpackers hostel for a few days, head out on one of there trips to ha long bay, then just travel down the coast, i am in SE asia for 10 weeks, but planning on staying in Vietnam for about 4 weeks,
Have you got any plans for where you would like to visit ??

hey,
I'm entering Vietnam from China, so was hoping to be able see Halong Bay before heading to Hanoi . Apart from Hanoi I would love to see Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An, Mui Ne, possibly Nha Trang and Da Lat, and definitively HCMC and the Mekong Delta. What places were you planning on stopping by? Are you travelling by train/bus?

That's all the places I want to go. Was going to cross from chow doc to Cambodia and head to kampot and maybe kep, there is a bus ticket you can get from hanoi to hcmc called an open bus and you can get on and off where you like (bus stops at all the locations mentioned )
So I was probably going to get one of them,
Where you headed to after Vietnam, how long is your trip in total ?

Cambodia sounds lovely! I wish my trip was longer so I had time to explore the rest of SE Asia. I'll probably try to catch a flight from HCMC back to Hanoi before heading back into China to meet up with a friend. I will be away for two months, but will spend most of the time in China.
Let me know if you are interested in meeting up anywhere along the way. I am 21 years old from London btw.

Meeting up sounds like a good plan, maybe in hanoi if you fancy it ? Coz u may be a head of me for the rest of your trip as I may do the coast at a slower pace, three to four weeks,
Have you sorted out where your staying yet ?

I am travelling out to Hanoi on the 21st June and am taking that route down the coast into Cambodia. My timespan is pretty much the same 8 to 10 weeks. It is my first time travelling so would be cool to meet someone doing something similar!

I am staying in old quarter aswell, just woke up hence late reply, I will probably be able to meet you at 7, how does that sound ? I am staying on ma may street which is busy and the hostel is really big so do you fancy coming here as there is a bar down stairs and places to sit,
