I'm planning to visit Ho Chi Minh city in march, alone for few days on a budget and fly to Bangkok. Need advice in where to stay .If I fly to bangkok via Singapore, the fare is about S$220, can I get cheaper rate if I fly direct from Ho Chi Minh?

Take a look at some of the THAI airfares between Saigon and Bangkok - there's some good deals to be had -- also Lufthansa had a special going for a while, though I'm not sure if it is still going.

Hong Hoa Hotel! Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Never met mor friendly and helpfoul staff. Clean rooms.
