    hi- looking for a clean quiet gusthouse room in HCMC - last week of feb, hopefully after the tet rush! (2-22) hope to reserve on line as we arrive very late after flying from the US (not a good moment to be trotting up and down the streets) hoping to find budget but not rock bottom- thanks! Chula

    Welcome to Travelfish Chula.

    Have you taken a look at the accommodation listings in the Saigon section? There's a couple of cheapies in there (Yellow House for example) that can be booked online.

    Try to get a room at Hong Hoa Hotel. You cant get a better place! In the middle of athe city. Pic up service at the airporrt 8$. Wounderfoul, serviceminded and totaly reliabel staff!
    The hotel is in the back packer area...
