Hi,
We have not actually booked yet but we are looking at Dreams in Dalat. we are staying 3 nights.we have been told it is low season so we are better walking in and looking first.

What do you mean with "walk"? From the hotel to the cable car or from the bottom to the top of the mountain?
You can take a taxi there. Pick Mai Linh taxi and be careful with the fake taxis around. Dont worry, its very easy with the cable car. Have fun!

Quite far from that hotel to the cable car.. You better take a taxi.
or find a hotel near the cable car (which is unnecessary)
