Hi I am looking at the best way to get into Vietnam from China and travel around.. If I purchase one of the online applications and enter via the airport can I re-enter via land using this visa. I know if you travel in via land you are supposed to get the visa from the consulate. But I thought I should ask.
Thanks Alot!

It shouldn't be a problem. The E-visa is only about the application. Once you have the visa it should not make any difference and you will be able to re-enter over land.

You will pay $50. for a multiple entry vs $25. for a single entry when using VOA - be sure to specify which you want when applying
