We plan to take the train from SAPA to Hanoi and depart to Kuala Lumpur at the same day.
The train arrives to Hanoi about 06:00Am (some websites say-05:00Am or even 04:35AM) and the flight from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur departs on 09:00AM - Do we have enough time? Is it safe?
How to get to airport from there? How much and how long is the taxi from the train station to airport?

Our train arrived around 05:00 AM and it takes about 45 minutes by taxi. Hundreds of taxi outside of the station and we paid US$20 for our taxi!

That's cutting it close, but I do think you can make it. Don't take any old cab - be sure it's Mai Linh! There's more than one train in the am - just be sure you're on the early one. Book with a reliable travel agent.

Taxi from Hanoi Train Station ( Le Duan Train Station or Tran Quy Cap Train Station) going to Noibai Airport cost about 18usd/ 1way. You can book in advance with HAN TAXI online to avoid scams drivers in Hanoi. Google " Han Taxi or Hanoi Airport Transfer Service" ...

it is quite rush. If everything goes smooth, it will be ok with you.
Book taxi in advance to airport. Maybe book at hotel which you stayed before. Normally it costs you 16$ from hotel to airport, or from train station to airport. If you take normal taxi at train station,please make sure that price is clear, and you do not have to pay anything more. It takes you about 45mins to airport,
