Hi Folks,
I am going to Thailand, Cambodia(Angkor Wat and Phnom Pehn) and Vietnam (Saigon, Mekong river)
I decided to take Paludrine (I think another name is Proguanil) for Malaria precautions. Does anyone have any feedback about it?
Some websites state it is less effective (~70% effectiveness) than Malarone (~95% effectiveness).
Is there any restrictions in terms of how many tablets I can carry with me?
Thanks
Diyan

Have you considered the side effects? What about Dengue Fever - no preventative that I've heard about. Think you need to reconsider that choice - short term exposure will not be a problem unless you spend a great deal of time in the rice paddies or swamps of SE Asia.
