Hi, can anyone recommend some accommodation for a family of 6? Yes 6!! 2 adults and 4 kids (Youngest 7 to oldest 14 year old). We are seasoned VN travelers (4 trips) but have only ever been WITHOUT the kids. We are happy to all share a room and squish up if required, or go for 2 adjoining rooms. We are looking to stay in HCMC/Saigon, Nha Trang & Da Nang. Guest houses are fine but the 5star hotels are a rip off. We have rang the places we have stayed in the past but have had no luck. We are now becoming desperate as our trip is in mid June. Please pass on your thoughts & suggestions. Many thanks -peter va sharon
In Saigon one place that springs to mind is the Huong Mini Hotel which had massive rooms -- very reasonably priced.
For Nha Trang and Da Nang all i can suggest is take a look through the listings on the site and look-out for triples and quad rooms -- they're not that uncommen -- unfortunately the search isn't geared up to let you search for types of room...
Sorry, hit enter a bit too quick. Another thing worth remembering is in Vietnam a double room often has two beds, rather than just one double bed... a two bed double could be alright for the "kids room"... just a thought.
