Hi,
I've been over this site and many others looking for some real solid advice on the Ha Long Bay tour and I really didn't find anything that is up to date and that really provides good advice.
Good advice for me = recommending an actual travel agent, specific tour (specific junk or whatever). I'm in Hanoi now and planning to take the Halong Bay tour the day after tomorrow and I really feel lost and have no idea what to do and if I can believe anything any travel agent here tells me.
Can anyone provide some good advice?

I'd be interested to hear how you got on, as I find myself in a similar situation, keen to get feedback that isn't dated 2006 or thereabouts.
