Found a few hostel dorm rooms that sound alright but just not sure will be the best option to have fun and meetother like minded folk and all in all good time!

Any of the above will probably be fine. Personally I like MyMy.
There are many hostels in the Pham Ngu Lao area all around the $6-8 mark.
The cheap beer places on the streets in that area are probably the best places for meeting other like minded folk and friendly Vietnamese too; skip the overpriced and empty bars.
