I took a tour to Sapa in a previous trip to Vietnam and did not enjoy it...maybe partially because I was with my ex-wife. However, I am returning to Vietnam and I seem to be the only person who did not enjoy Sapa as I hear glowing reviews on it from many travelers.
Does anyone have a extra ordinary tour company they would recommend for my 2nd attempt in SAPA?

I think the local ethnic ladies are the very best guides, and they're far cheaper than those fancy tours.
