Warning to all travellers to Hanoi,

Avoid Thanh An Hotel along Hang Ga street. The staffs there are all cheaters of tourists' money!
My friends and i arrived at hanoi by tour bus. When we alight the bus, there were many tour agencies representatives there. We were approached by Thanh An and we accept their offer as it was the best rate being USD$10 per room and there's free transport to their hotel.
When we reached the hotel, we waited for more than an hr as there were no room available for us yet. We were a bit angry and they told us to wait. One moment later, an angry American guy walked down and told us that he was woken up and told to check out of the room immediately even though it was before the agreed check-out time. We were already doubtful of the hotel and some of us went to check ard the rates of other hotels. Unfortunately, the hotel still offers the best rate. We decided to stay on.
Breakfast was included, and it was a terrible one. With only baguette and butter!
When we checked out two days later, the staff charged us USD$15, instead of USD$10!...We were very angry and refused to pay...in the end, we came to an agreement with the staff to pay USD$12.50.
We left the hotel in a bad mood. Then we met another group of tourists who told us of their experience at the same hotel.
This group of tourist was also told to wait for available room. They went ou to tour ard first. When they returned, they check into their room and was surprised to find the bathhroom in bad conditions and there was an errie picture of a lady on the wall! They decide to move out on the same day, however, the staff charged them USD$15, even though they had not stay overnight!
The staffs there were all cheaters! Spread this to all yr friends!
