Dien Bien Phu Border Crossing

    I've heard rumours that the Dien Bien Phu border crossing with Laos is now open. Can anyone confirm?

    It is and supposedly you can get a Lao visa on arrival.

    Going the other way requires you get a visa BEFORE you head for the border.
