I've found this posting, hope it helps you!
For someone who has few valuables the bus is a risk from thieves and pickpockets. For an arriving passenger the risk is higher.
A taxi will cost around USD$6. About a 20-minute run. Do not ask a taxi driver for a hotel name, they only know the names of hotels who bribe them.
NOTE: When you leave the International terminal turn RIGHT along to the end of the building where you will find a covered walkway (and a trolley park).
Grab a trolley and go to the domestic terminal.
To your LEFT, after arriving at the Domestic terminal, you will see a big parking lot which is where you will find a selection of taxies.
DO NOT USE THE TAXIS IMMEDIATELY OUTSIDE THE TERMINALS (usually white) AS THEY ARE GOVERNMENT OWNED AND HAVE THE HIGHEST RATES.
Tan Son Nhat Airport is 7 kilometres northwest of downtown HCMC (Q1).
Bus Route 152 - TSN Airport Ben Thanh Market Station
The air-conditioned Route 152 (Tel: (08) 3829-8992)(www.satranco.com.vn) runs from the airport to Ben Thanh Market in the city centre daily. Travel time is 60-90 minutes | EXACT Fare (cash) VND3,000
Buses leave the airport approximately every 15 minutes, stopping briefly at both the internal lal and domestic terminals before heading downtown/Q1. First bus: 05.30H | Last Bus: TBA
The official route is: Tan Son Nhat Airport > Trouong Son > Phan Dihn Giot > Doung Nguyen Van Troi > Doung Nam Ky Khoi Nghia > Doung Pasteur > Nguyen Thi Minh Khai > Dai Lo Nguyen Thai Hoc sequentially. Note: The drivers act independently and often self-re-route, without authorisation, which can alarm both passengers and other drivers alike.
Ben Thanh Bus Station us about 15-20 minute walk, depending on hotel location. Late at night the drivers might re-route for $2-3 along Pham Ngu Lau Street.
