I'm trying to determine whether it will be possible/worthwhile to snorkel on/around Phu Quoc in early-mid August. Does anyone have any information about this? I've heard conflicting reports about weather and visibility at this time of year. I understand that the dry season, obviously, would be better, but am interested to know if it's even worth bringing my snorkel gear with me at this time of year.
Any other thoughts/suggestions about Phu Quoc would also be appreciated!
I'd still pack your gear. I was there in the height of wet season last year and the weather was stunning. You may be restricted to beach snorkelling as the dive shops may be running few trips, but it would still be worth checking out.
