I am looking for islands and beached in Asia (Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, etc) that are similar to the Gili Islands in Indonesia. I really enjoy the relaxed setting with the option of partying at night...and of course the awesome beaches.
I have been to Thailand...Phi Phi, Railay, Samui, Tao, Phangan...just looking for more paradise Islands

You can go to Nha Trang in Vietnam and enjoy thr fresh air there as if you are at Gili Islands in Indonesia

Paradise island? Phu Quoc in Vietnam is an ideal choice. This peaceful tropical island will bring memorable experience for you with plenty of exiting activities and place to visit. You will have a good feeling because of stunning beaches, untouched natural environment, the easy going and relaxed atmosphere, friendly locals, and fantastic scuba diving and snorkeling

I recommend Phu Quoc Island.Thereyou can snorkeling to see colourful coral, or fishing cuttle at night besidediscovering wonderful islands, beautiful beaches. To the North of Island, havenational forest Phu Quoc, you can trekking and discover Da Ban stream &Tranh stream. Specialities you should try that’s sea urchin, herring salad withcoconut.
For awesome beaches, you can go to Nha TRang – the scuba divingcenter of Vietnam. It’s more lively and urban in character than Phu Quoc. Or another place is MuiNe
Oneof southern Vietnam'sprime slices of beach real estate, Mui Ne is a kilometres-long sweepingbay boasting a huge range of guesthouse and resort options, with the actualvillage set at the far northern end of the bay. The beach itself is yellow sandwith a semi-fine grain. The southern stretch is better suited to swimming,sun-baking and deck-chair reclining. Obviously the bits of beach right out frontof individual resorts is better kept than the more deserted stretches. Famousfor its wind- and kite-surfing, in season, the winds here are as reliable asclockwork. Away from the beach, the key attraction of Mui Ne are its sanddunes, of which there are three sets which can easily be visited from MuiNe, either independently by bicycle or motorbike or by motorbike taxi or jeep.Best visited in the late afternoon when the light is sublime, you can alsocatch the sunset from above Mui Ne village which, with its bevy of fishingboats, is particularly scenic.

You might get a better variety of responses if you don't post this in the Vietnam forum but in the broader SE Asia forum. If what you liked was the Gili feeling of relaxation and quiet on a small-scale then you would probably want to avoid places like Langkawi, Phu Quoc, Ko Chang and the like - as they are not little islands that can be walked around in an afternoon and have plenty of auto traffic.

Instead, you could look to (Rabbit Island?) in Cambodia just off Kep, Ko Wai near Ko Chang (Trat/Cambodia border) or 4,000 Islands in Laos.
