Hi - want to spend around 3 weeks of a 7.5 week journey throughout SEAsia. Does 6 days in HCMC, Hanoi, then splitting the time left between Hue & Hoi An sound ok? Any suggestions? Will be there in Jan/Feb

Hi,
We spent 30 days in Vietnam and still was not enough time.
Depends what you are interested in but we spent 3 days in HCMC and wished we spent more - 2 days in city and day trip to Mekong. 4-5 days in Hoi An relaxing/ shopping is good. Hue may only need 2 days.
Halong Bay and Sapa were also highlights. These trips can be easily done from Hanoi as a base. 2 days Halong Bay, 3 Days Sapa trek.
Again,it depends what you like to do and see. Hope this helps.
