My partner and I will be in Ho Chi Minh City on Dec 31st (New Year's Eve) and I would like to take him out for a special dinner to celebrate his 40th birthday... Can you suggest a nice, quiet, romantic place for dinner. I was thinking perhaps French as we like nice wine. Any ideas?

You can find some address from here:

Au Manoir De Khai is cute, nice, good food but very expensive.

    Posted from within Vietnam.

Seems that New Years Eve is hardly synonymous with a "nice, quiet, romantic dinner" - unless you eat at a Vietnamese restaurant who celebrate Tet more than Western New Years.
