Hello I am going to Phu Quoc Island for 4 night,s
in mid March
And have 2 places in mind to stay at
I am looking for a single basic budget room
at either the
Tropican Resort
or the
Beach Club
all suggestion,s gratfully accepted

Hi - we spent 11 days at the Beach Club in February and can highly recommend it - by far the best budget place on the island. The rooms only have cold showers but it was so hot it really didn't matter. For an extra $5 the bungalows all have hot showers and were slightly larger. The food was fantastic and so cheap - in fact, we hardly ate anywhere else as the food at the Beach Club was so fresh - the cooking was overseen by owners Mike and his lovely Vietnamese wife. This place was the highlight of our stay in Vietnam!

Could not stay there in late Nov 07 as it was solidly booked out for weeks. Great quiet spot on beach, and yes we walked up from our place a few times because the food was fantastic.

We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed the island. Take alot of books!
