I would appreciate if anybody could tell me her or his experiences about the weather conditions in October in Saigon and the coastal areas and Da Lat. Is it possible to enjoy a holiday (beach included) or will I drown in rain?

We've got Vietnam weather conditions summarised here. You'll have quite a bit of rain at that time of the year -- but hey, at least you won't be there in September!
