The best option is bus - allow 6 hours, although some OpenTour bus operators do a diversion to the east so they can exchange passengers with Mui Ne bus connections which adds two hours o the journey.

Your BEST bet is to use Mai Linh Express whose HCMC address is: 400A Le Hong Phong, District 10 Tel: +84-(0)-8929-2929. Da Lat is 308 kilometres from HCMC. The cost is VND80,000.

Cat Tien can be accessed by Xe Om - motorcycle - ask around.
