Is it unseasonally wet at the moment? I have been checking the bbc web-site and it seems like there is/has been lots of rain in south and mid Vietnam? Are the views dusty or green?

thanks

It does seem to be a bit colder and wetter in Central Vietnam this year. That HUGE storm that ravaged China seemed to throw the entire contintnents climate out of wack. I live in Hoi An and we have had the hottest summer, the wetest monsoon and the coldest winter that anyone can remember. The last flooding that was this bad was in 1966. Everyone here is tired of gloomy weather and ready for a few sunny days.
by the way, The views are green green green and with a little sun on the river, the flowers will be out in force..

The BBC is not the best place to check detailed weather for this country although it is for Europe! Check CNN weather for multiple locations.

The weather centred on HCMC is pretty good with day temps around 25-30C BUT VERY HOT SUN - don't forget your hat and water. ALSO your sun tan lotion with a high SPF.

There have been sporadic showers - about once every 2 weeks average for the past 2 months.
