Hi,
I am arriving in to Ho Chi Minh on March 2nd at 2 pm and I would like to catch a night train to Nha Trang. I have tried to book a ticket with through the 5 Star Express Train yet I have not received despite sending many emails and even Fax's.
My questions are :
Will is be easy to secure a sleeper at such short notice? Also, where is the best place to purchase the tickets when I arrive in town?
Cheers! |

For those who don't know, the English language URL for the s-Star Express is < http://222.253.120.101/enver/index.php?cid=11,17 >.
It's popularity has ramped up with many of the OpenTour operators together with travel agents selling this package. As a result, 5-Star Express is busy ... dealing with these retailers.
Their staff has difficulty in using some languages (I have visited their offices on several occasions).
I. Schedule:
Day Train:
Sai Gon – Muong Man – Thap Cham – Nha Trang:
06.15H – 09.45 - 12.00H – 14.00H
Nha Trang – Thap Cham – Muong Man – Sai Gon:
14.55H – 16.40H – 19.40H - 23.30H
Night Train:
Sai Gon – Nha Trang: 20.20H – 06.45H
Nha Trang – Sai Gon: 18.10H – 05.00H
Pricing:
No Class One way
1 Business Class 2.400.000
2 5 Star Club 450.000
3 Deluxe 330.000
4 Standard 220.000
I suggest you contact SINH TRAVEL (also of OpenTour fame) - use < http://www.sinhcafe.com.vn/Desktop.aspx/News/Other-menu/BOOKING_GUIDE/ >. Sinh knows how to handle Foreigners and will take the pain out of this transaction. |
