    I understand that there are no ATMs in Laos, but what about international ATMs in Vietnam (and Cambodia)? In particular this would be for a card from the USA (MasterCard) or South Africa?

    There's atms that accept international cards in Phnom Penh and in many of the larger cities in Vietnam. I've long heard about such a machine in Vientiane, but yet to meet anyone who ever saw it in person!
