Hi everyone! And this is my first post!! YAY!

My partner and I have a 14 day trip in Vietnam booked for this coming September and Ive got a couple of questions i hope someone can help me out with.

I'm still working on the itinerary but i am thinking something along the lines of

HCM - 2 nights
Dalat - 1 night
Nha Trang - 2 nights
Mui Ne - 2 nights
Hoi An - 3 nights
and then im not sure what else to do

but i want to spend the last 2 maybe 3 nights in Ho Chi Minh.

I was considering a stint in Pho Quoc Island or a trip down through the Mekong but ive read that it may not be the best time of year to be thinking about that.

Also, what would be the best way to do this trip - open end ticket on a bus or by train?

Any help would be much appreciated, as would any other hints on locations to go. Prefer to keep south of Da Nang.

Hi,

Mekong delta in september is flooded season, it isn't convenient for traveling. From Danang you can go to visit Hue Citadel-The only Citadel keeped almost intact in Vietnam, stay there 2 or 3 nights, and then go to Phong Nha-nature world heritage in Vietnam 1 days. I know a good site, you can book service at http://activetravelshop.com.

Good journy for you.
