Ehlen newbie Posts: 2	#1 Posted: 21/5/2008 - 21:32 Hello! I'd like to visit Quan Lan (or another island) in Bai Tu Long Bay. Does anyone knows what time the (local) boat leaves from Halong City and can you give some directions? All tips on islands, where to stay, etc are also welcome! Thanks
paradissatravel backpacker Posts: 14	#2 Posted: 7/6/2008 - 16:44 Everyday there are about 1-2 (can't remember) boat trip leaving Halong to Quan Lan to supply goods. But I don't think you can reach that boat for a ride to Quan Lan. Much easier to book a tour there. The island has some sort of resort (reasonable price) to book. But, I suspect that as a walk-in tourist, you're be charged cheaper than booking a tour to there. Enjoy your time in Vietnam.
