I know this has been asked, but can't find updated information online. How much is the flight from Hanoi to Luang Prabang (one way)?
Thanks.

Last I checked the fare was around the US$150-170 mark.

Hey there -
We flew from LP to Ha Noi about a week and a half ago on Lao Airlines, booked through an agency in town (loads cheaper than online), and the flights were just over $100 per person. Lao Airlines is cheaper than Vietnam Airlines, and the flight was nice, if late.

and do you have to buy the flights at the local ticket office as can't seem to do it online?

The only thing that I have found on-line is a $185 direct flight from LP to Hanoi (I'm traveling the other way) from the Lao airlines site that only works when it feels like it and seemingly only with internet explorer. I've read that tickets can maybe be booked cheaper through local travel agents. anyone know more?
