Visa to China

  • TheRunningm-

    Hey,

from January to June I want to travel by Bus n' Train from Malaysia to Europe.

So I have to cross China. My Problem is to get a permission for a visa.
I went to the Chinese Embassy here in Germany and they told me that I need flighttickets or in my case enter- and Exit-Traintickets.

I want to Enter China from Vietnam by Train wich goes from Hanoi to Nanning.
And I want to leave China by Train from Beijing to Irkutsk(Russia).

I know that the chinese give Tourists Visa in Vietnam within 4 Days, is this possible without the exit-Ticket?

If it's impossible does anybody know how to buy or reservate a Beijing-Irkutsk Ticket ouside of China?

    Thank you

    Hi,
We had a similar problem and are now in Vietnam ended up just paying the extra cash to a travel agency to have your passport processed only giving them an entry date. We had to shop around and found one we trusted as the time and price varies. We of course tried going to the embassy but had all the same problems for them not excepting anything but the originals stamped. How do you get an original train ticket in another country its madness.
We get ours back in a couple of days ill let you know the out come.
