Hi,
If you take separate companies, a bus would take you:
* Siem Reap-PP: 5-6 hrs
* PP-HCMC: 6-8hrs
... for a theoretical total of 11-14 hours.
Some direct lines exist (they generally quote 12 hours) and would be more convenient if you're not ready to break your trip. Mailinh is one example of such a company, though they manage the border really poorly compared to the other companies. A couple of Cambodian companies also exist but I can't remember another name than Sorya.

I checked their websites and unfortunately they don't indicate any schedules for the SR-HCMC line.
Keep us updated if you do phone. They should have at least a departure a day.
Also, please reduce your impact and avoid taking a plane for such a short distance. Btw PP is a nice city for a mid-way break...

Hmm... Given that they make you change buses, I am pretty sure of the schedule for Sorya:
- departure time at 0700hrs
- arrival in PP around 1300hrs (their last bus service to HCMC)
- transfer to another bus
- PP-HCMC, arrival at around 2000hrs?
