    Does anyone know how easy it is to travel to the islands? Which one is most interesting? Are they inhabited and can I stay on the islands? We will be based on Long Beach I think but would like to spend a couple of days down south.

    I don't think accommodation is available -- most of the dive/boat trips do swing by though, allowing you at least some beachtime on the islands.
